TOP 10 OF 2014: BEST BOOKS I’VE READ IN 2014
I am glad I am doing this again this year, I loved doing the lists last year. I havent read as much as I wanted lately, and a few books are still on my tbr list that I cant wait to read and hopefully I will by the end of the year so they wont be on the list (Heir of fire, A Thousan pieces of you, Excquisite captive) but I have a feeling that if I have read them, they would be. Without further ado, here are my top books of 2014:
10. Unhinged by A.G. Howard
While a little less dazzling than Splintered, this book is pure magic and why I love reading. I just hope there will be more Morpheus in the next one.
9. Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout
The final book in the Lux series was epic. There were tears, happiness and a lot of Daemon Black at his finest. I will miss the world and the characters.
8. Perdition by Ann Aguirre
This book is amazing. Sci fi, a kick-ass female MC, unsavory characters and the awesome Jael, who I missed since Sirantha Jax series.
7. Between the Devil and the deep blue Sea by April G. Tucholke
I adore this book. So haunting, creepy and fascinating, a stellar debut.
6. Isla and the happily ever after by Stephanie Perkins
Adorable and playful and I just couldnt stop reading it. I will miss Anna, Etienne, Lola, Crickett, Josh and Isla very much.
5. Horde by Ann Aguirre
Another series ending book, and a favorite series of mine. Ann Aguirre always manages to surprise and delight me and Deuce and Fade did just that.
4. Stolen songbird by Danielle L. Jensen
Another magical read, something I have never read about before (trolls) and a beautiful relationship between main characters. A great fantasy read.
3. Sixth grave on the edge by Darynda Jones
My top 3 favorite author, series and characters of all time. The books just keep getting better.
2. Ignite me by Tahereh Mafi
Juliette finally coming into her own. Warner. Kenji being funny. Finally someone tells Adam off, Warner. Those are all the reasons why this book is one of my favorites of the year. WARNER <3 p="">
1. The Witch with no name by Kim Harrison
This series is perfection. The world, the writing, the characters, the ending. My favorite series of all time has come to an end and while I am sad to see it go, I was perfectly happy with how it ended.
Honorable mentions:
The Forever song by Julie Kagawa
Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrewsž
City of heavenly fire by Cassandra Clare
Seventh grave and no body by Darynda Jones
Looking for Alaska by John Green
The Undead Pool by Kim Harriosn

Opposition, Ignite Me, and Isla were all included on my list as well. Really want to read Splintered and Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. I really want to start the Kim Harrison series as well.

I didn't care of Unhinged nearly as much as Splintered, but I have high hopes for the finale to this trilogy because we're going back to Wonderland! Charley Davidson is awesome! Excellent pick! I saved Eighth Grave for my book boyfriend list later this week. ;)
OdgovoriIzbrišiI've read Unhinged (I didn't really like it) but I also read Horde and it was my favorite one of that series. Not on my top list, but still a great book. Thanks for sharing! Here's my Best Books of 2014 post.
