She was born the day the world ended…
Nurrin has lived her entire life with zombies—trapped behind walls meant to keep them safe. She’s mostly happy there. But when a zombie horde breech the walls of her Haven, she has to trust her brother, Collin, and his best friend to keep her alive.
He just wants his past to die…
Finn O’Malley has given up on voicing warnings that are ignored. No one cares that the zombies are changing. Now all that matters is keeping Collin and Nurrin safe from what’s outside the walls of a Haven. But when Nurrin’s best friend picks up a contact infection, he agrees to get the medicine needed to save his life. Forced together, relying on each other in a strange Haven, zombies aren’t the most dangerous thing they’re facing.
I am currently in a zombie faze thanks to The Walking dead so give me anything zombie related and I will be awesome. I have been waiting for this book for months, since I read the blurb I knew it will be great and I was right. The World without a future has everything you need to be engrossed from start to finish without a pause. I read it in a few hours without putting it down. In this world post infection that ruined the world, there are havens with survivors, enclosed from the Infected and living their lives as best as they could. Nurrin or Ren is a 20 year old who is the First, born on the day it all started, and the Firsts are hunted by a bunch of fanatics. When the awful happens and her haven is breached she runs with her brother Collin, her best friend Dustin, and Collins best friend Finn, who she hates. Throw a bunch of zombies, sexual tension, running to dave lives and racing with time you get a pretty great book which ends on a little cliffhanger so I hope the sequel comes soon. And I am proud to be one of Nazareas Infects. Haven23 rules! Read it people, you wont regret it.
