The YA romantic comedy/Greek mythology fireworks continue to fly in My Date From Hell. Love meets comedy with a whole lot of sass in book two of this teen fantasy romance series. Breaking up is easy; dating is deadly.

My review

The first book in this series, My ex from hell, was so funny and interesting I instantly fell in love with the characters and in the story. So, when I got a chance to read My date from hell early, I jumped on it and was instantly swept into Sophie's world. I fell in love with Hephestus, the god Sophie enlists to help her and it turns out he and Theo have some history. He is so funny and cute, I want their story to have a happy ending. I adore Sophe and he sense of humor and how he tries to come to grips with her past self and her powers and her relationship with Kai. We finally find out who killed Persephone and we see the truth about Persephone. The ending broke my heart along witk Sophe's and I am aching to read My life from hell to see how it all plays out. Amazing writing and story-telling.
