My Review:
If there is the genre I love to read on a rainy day, it is a sexy romance and when you throw a little suspense and mystery in there, I am hooked.
This is my first book from this author and I have to say, I will read all her other work.
We meet Marsella, a confident business woman, on her way to a dinner with her family where everything goes wrong, her father gives her his journal and tells her to run while there are police sirens coming closer. She goes, with a little help from Jake, whose face she didnt see that night. Cut to some time later, she is now Cassie, a waitress in a local diner. Everyone is still searching for her, including Jake. These two together are explosive. I just loved these two characters, Cassie/Marsella is strong, capable and smart while Jake is struggling with some major decisions.
For fans of steamy romaces and fast paced thrillers, this one is for you.
